I was given the opportunity to sew a sample with a PBS Fabrics line. I knew that the Tiger Lily fabric would be the perfect choice for a baby sized Embers Quilt because it is a smaller collection and this size quilt, with a background cut from yardage, only requires 5 FQs. When the fabric arrived I cut into it right away and got to sewing!

One small detail I decided to add to this quilt was to keep the selvage on the backing fabrics. That way in the future I can remember what fabric I used. I quilted this with gold thread that looks great contrasting with the green background fabric. I also think the fabrics look great with the fall foliage!
